I note clicking on the "Public Comments" link to see what's been submitted thus far goes to comments submiutted for the advance notice that ended in January.
How many comment posters have been discouraged now, and how did this happen on an issue of such vital interest to gun owners?
Will the comment period now be extended to make up for the time it has been closed?

David, just read part of the text for the proposed rules. They can't ban them with the wording used. (for the same reason Obama's aft had to let them be marketed).
The rule states; " allowing the user to mimic full auto with only ONE pull of the trigger".
Not so; bump stocks just help a person pull the trigger faster. But the trigger has to be pulled every time! Or "fast" semi auto fire, if you will.
NFA definition of a machine gun is "two or more rounds fired with a single pull of trigger." That doesn't happen with bump fires!.....MTHead
AAAh, my stupid! they changed the definition of, "a single pull of the trigger" in order to ban them!
Isn't this the exact same BULLSHIT we just voted against a year ago?.....MTHead
