The Boulder City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to advance a ban on the sale and possession of assault weapons, bump stocks and high-capacity magazines in the city. [More]And they're still "justifying" it with the same old lies.
I wonder how many people they're willing to have armed enforcers kill to make this happen.
Well at least you know who to thank.
You can do it here -- for starters.

'"This entire ordinance has some level of risk to it," he said.'
Gee, Ya think?
I read their 'Memo and Attachments' PDF. Looks like their working on going after .22s with thumbhole stocks next.
I'm sure they all think they're saving the world.
I note that the "high capacity" magazines they want to ban were described as "10 or more rounds". OK, just who manufactures 9 round magazines for the AR-15? I think of all the folks who bought 10 and 20 round mags before the last state-level ban went into place, thinking they'd be OK. And all the folks who bought 30 round mags (or got them from Magpul free) before Magpul said adios to CO. And there's NO grandfathering in of these or the rifles, if what I read in another article is correct. So their whole scheme amounts to what is called in law a "taking" (I doubt anybody will be compensated). What about somebody just passing through on their way to one of the surrounding towns (like, for instance, Gunbarrel) who gets pulled over for a taillight being out? Do New Jersey-style Gestapo arrest and confiscate? This is going to end in a federal court somewhere . . . or be a trigger point in the coming civil war. There are a LOT of reports about UN comm installations going up in that area north of Denver. Gee, I wonder why?

Notice that as the Blue States "bleed out" the spreading stain is turning Red States a yucky shade of purple. We see a similar process here in the Miami area as each succeeding wave of refugees tries to re-create their homeland in the city of my birth. They refuse to acknowledge that they're also recreating the third world conditions they fled. Any attempt to point out the effect results in accusations of being "culturally insensitive." Meanwhile, a perfectly livable area becomes "the Capitol of Latin America."
Not unlike medieval folks fleeing the Black Plague and taking it with them to previously uninfected areas.
We could always be like Mike. I remember him publishing the names, home addresses, home phone numbers and pictures of all the oath-breaking turds in CT. With that info came a warning that the responsibility for violence and/or bloodshed was at their feet if anyone was willing to enforce their "laws." I don't know how to do it, but.... Bueller?
