More in the Firearms Industry Should Follow Hornady’s New York Example

These are precisely the measures gun owner rights advocates should expect from manufacturers. If a state or city discriminates against the right of citizens to keep and bear arms, those we patronize should not be giving aid and comfort to the enemy – and how else would you characterize an oath-breaking totalitarian wannabe trying to establish and enforce a monopoly of violence? [More]
What has each of us done to encourage gun and ammo makers to follow suit?

This would be an excellent avenue of activism for an established group without “entangling alliances” to commercial industry corporations (which lets out NRA — so, perhaps a group like JPFO, or perhaps even GOA) to create one of those “mail campaign” websites that allows individual gun owners to send a letter to multiple, targeted industry poohbahs in support of an organized boycott. I know it’s not as amazing as a million gun owners independently looking up random industry execs and composing their own letters, but would we rather have achievable and consistently targeted, or randomly-aimed and not-gonna-happen?

IIRC Ronnie Barrett did a similar move with either L.A or Frisco over their banning his .50 Caliber Rifle, and refused to sell or service any of their Barrett Rifles.
