I have theory about the NE states and their disarmament diktat. Aside from institutional Fabien memory of where the 1st American Revolution began, and the two states which was the most rebellious, Ma. and NH., aside from the hoplophobes agenda to take everyones instruments to resist them, there is a third directive. That is to choke off the movement of weapons through the geographical bottleneck of NY/Mass/Conn. The relatively small kneck of land and bridges which crosses the Hudson River, makes for an easily controlled series of check points. Add in NJ, Maryland, and Delaware, and the hoplophobes can control the entire NewEngland pocket. There's lots of little routes thru rural parts of NE, almost all still have T cross the Hudson, Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain, if you want to smuggle arms and people in and out of the Vt/Maine/NH pocket. Each of those states making up an excellent mountainous terrain for 4th Generation guerilla war. It gave the Britts and French both great trouble. Its where the men who fought the French Indian War and later went on to fight the English in the 1st revolutionary war mostly all came from.
