Earlier this week, anti-gun and anti-hunting Gov. Phil Murphy continued his pandering to animal rights extremists by issuing an executive order to ban bear hunting on public land in the Garden State. The Governor, of course, wants to ban all bear hunting and was actually quite vocal about his anti-hunting agenda on the campaign trail last year. [More]Fudds inclined to throw those of us not in it for the "sport" under the bus take note: If he'll try to ban a fundamental right, what makes you think mere hobby is safe?
Lets see: Ensure the bear population is left unchecked so they'll be under increasing pressure to expand their range and increase human encounters, and at the same time do everything in your power to disarm the citizenry.
What could possibly go wrong?

Is this really within the Governor's power?
It's the People's Republic of New Jersey. What is law to them, but words on a piece of paper that can be dropped into the nearest shredder or incinerator if it should happen to inconvenience them?
