Having Their Phil

Meanwhile, preliminary results showed that Gov. Phil Scott survived a challenge animated by his former Republican allies in the gun-rights movement. [More]
They challenged him because he betrayed and attacked them.

If he loses the general election, watch the predominant narrative attribute it to a rejection of "Trumpism." As opposed to belly fire-quenching by Swamp RINOs in an environment where a critical mass of constituents are useful idiot Bernie-lovin' socialist loons...

If he wins, other Republicans will take note that gun owner desperation means betrayal gets a pass. That's the reaction the party has counted on for years, and is largely responsible for us being in the mess we're in.

Is that article correct in implying that Stern did not use Scott's anti 2A works against him in the primary campaign?

I'm sure the article is correct in saying that Republican voters only wanted to talk about Phil's hate for the Constitution.

Surprise, surprise. Phil Scott, John Kasich, Tim Pawlenty, and Bloomberg supported Rick Snyder were all 'never Trumpers'
