Democrats are Running on Gun Control in 2018 [More]Time was they were shy about that, but the times, they are a-changin'.
I would expect most of the noise and most of the "victories" to be in "safe" blue states, but look to those to be used to create a false impression of public demand. I'd also expect life to get a lot more complicated for gun owners if attitudes like this prevail.

True enough. There's more then a few gun owners that don't get it. I had a friend from PA that was an avid deer hunter who thought there was no need to own a handgun. I did explain to him that once handguns are banned your deer rifle was next. There's quite a few shotgunners, who with their fancy expensive skeet and trap guns, feel the same way about AR's and M1's etc.
Local gun control issues in S. Florida years ago, in the now infamous Broward County that did nothing to prevent the Parkland high school shooting, me and a co-worker friend made damn sure we voted against it.
I've been voting ever since, primaries, state, all elections. And if voting doesn't make a difference as one poster commented, then please explain to me why Hillary Clinton is not POTUS.
