NBC said it canceled Tuesday’s appearance “out of sensitivity to our audience.” [More]Time was, truly progressive (no quotation marks) comedy was able to rip through those sensitivities. That's what made it funny.
Anybody remember the Joan Baez send-up from NatLamp's "Radio Dinner"? If you wonder why the album has all but disappeared, it's because no one would dare reissue it -- and the principals would never work in this town again.
