“For me, those are commonsense decisions that do not diminish anyone’s right to bear arms,” Abrams said. [More]For you.
How many lives are you willing to see destroyed to make them so?
And way to play into the enemy's hands, Brian Kemp. Who's the genius that thought this would be a good idea?

Outside of Atlanta, that Kemp ad played fairly well in Georgia. If you watch it, his handling safety is actually pretty good. Despite claims by some idiots, the shotgun is never pointed at the guy. In fact, I watched it a few times, and came to the conclusion that the direction seemed to have chosen not to point at anyone on the set.
"Abrams and others say voters shell-shocked from a spate of mass shootings are now more supportive of her calls for universal background checks for private sales of firearms, a ban of high-powered assault rifles and a repeal of campus gun legislation."
High-powered assault rifles! I want one.
You don't need to point, the implication is clear. This threatening tough dad crap goes nowhere with anyone with self-respect. I never once encountered it when I was single, nor have my sons, and none of us were raised to tolerate it-- they would not be afraid to explain acceptable cordiality and respect should the situation ever arise.
