Undercover Video: AZ Sen Candidate Kyrsten Sinema Claims Arizonians Will ‘Actually Shoot You’ if You Mention Gun Bans [More]Not to worry-- her calculated decision to keep her public distance from a bill that's not going anywhere anyway is all the proof we need that hysterical right-wingers are over-reacting.

In my admittedly limited memory, we've had two politicians shot over political disagreements here in Arizona in the past 20 years.
Gabby Giffords was shot by a nutbag who resented her failure to clearly answer his bizarre question: "What is government if words have no meaning?" Giffords didn't have a major history as a gun grabber, certainly not like she has now, post-shooting.
Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox, ironically one of the major gun grabbers in local government, was shot in the butt over a political disagreement -- but one that had absolutely nothing to do with gun policy. A homeless drifter with a long mental history shot her after she voted for a new tax to fund Bank One Ballpark and prevented a public vote to ratify or reject. Reportedly, her family owned the property slated to become part of stadium parking, so she was not exactly a disinterested party.
So, as usual, Sinema is projecting.
