Why did all those Americans die in WWs I and II again...?

And how do foreign entanglements "secure the Blesings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity"?

I have no earthly idea. The Pacific war, I understand. The Empire of Japan attacked us directly and decisively but neither Germany nor Italy attacked us in a way similar to the way Japan did. I have read that if we had stayed the heck out of WWI the war would have wound to a close in a stalemate thus no Treaty of Versailles and most likely NO THIRD REICH! Anyone with a reading level above 2nd grade can see the seeds of WWII in that document. It was inevitable that Germany would react to the terrible humiliations of that treaty.

In the lead up to 12 Dec, 1941 there were no less than FIVE enigma machines in the war dept. On Pearl there was not even ONE!! Had there been even one, the codebreakers at pearl would have had time to decode the Japanese declaration of war and U.S. forces would have been on high alert. We would have gone to war with Japan as a result to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Had we not been caught so totally by surprise, I do not believe there would have been support for a global war. Had the U.S. been able to concentrate upon prosecuting the Pacific war I do not believe even that conflict would have lasted as long as it did.

Progressive Democrat Woodrow Wilson - besides segregating federal buildings - found a way to get us entangled in a war in Europe. Progressive Democrat Franklin Roosevelt made sure we would become entangled in a global war. The Founders knew the right of it. In his farewell address, Gashington said, "It is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world". Notably, In his inaugural address Jefferson spoke of "Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations-entangling alliances with none." If only we had remained true to their vision. Who the frack died and made us the policemen to the world?
