The Mayor of Black Jack is holding a community meeting tonight at Black Jack City Hall about a string of recent shootings. [More]Thank goodness Missouri law says guns aren't allowed at "government meetings" and in "government-owned buildings."

The City of Black Jack was formed because St. Louis County was placing lots of low income housing in the locale. Section 8 for folks trying to escape the problems of North St. Louis City. The city was created to provide local control.
Now Black Jack is a North City enclave with similar issues that the residents wanted to leave behind.
Similar to what the folks wanting to escape California are bring to Nevada and the other surrounding states.
