The enterprising FFL dealer who sold him the pistol should have also sold him a holster.
Uh-oh! As a felon in possession of a firearm, he probably did not obtain the pistol from a FFL dealer. However, anyone with $40 can buy a holster from many legitimate sources. The cost of not buying and not properly using a holster when carrying a firearm is too high.
