Given the advances in computer generated imagery, the gradual elimination of on screen live actors will progress until they inhabit a niche market in local theaters. Hollywood is already phasing out the use of human extras. The top tier talent will at some point price themselves out of the market and, for the most part, disappear like the Hollywood star systems of the 1930's through 1950's.

When is the last time that CNN took any interest in the political views of your local theater company's talent?

IOW, we're coming up on a future with no place for Barbara Streisand much less anyone who want's to hear her political opinions.
