Harris County judge accidentally resigns - Democrat Bill McLeod shared plans to run for the Supreme Court of Texas. Then he learned part of the Texas Constitution considers his words worthy of resignation. [More]So he's Peter-Principled himself out in his current gig and now he wants to go higher? I can see his "A vote for me is a vote for ignorance of the law" campaign slogan now.
In fairness, does anyone really expect a Democrat judge to be guided by any constitutions?

Ds swept Harris County. The chief executive (titled 'County Judge' though not in a judicial post) is a grad school dropout from Colombia by way of Peru and Mexico who will now enjoy a wonderfully lucrative life as an anointed one.
Texas' biggest counties are firmly D, there aren't enough folks in the rural areas to counter the coming onslaught.
And few places to retreat to.
