I'm writing an article about the Swiss referendum and Word highlighted and suggested the following "correction":
How do you tell a program to go f*** itself?

...just type Wordperfect was better...
So did it suggest a word, or just leave you to find one?
It didn’t suggest “shooter,” did it?
Which version of Word are you using? You're making me glad i'm a FUD when it comes to software, and am still on Word 2010.
Mine is older than that, but I believe such features are updated. I'm also still on Windows 7, for which I understand all support is going away.
As an Air Force brat, my wife spent some of her growing up years in Weisbaden in what was then West Germany. A side effect of that was that her mother was usually called Mutti.
My Android phone is convinced that "Mutti" should changed to "Muddy".
It is scary when your machines become almost as smart as Democrats. Can "SkyNet" be that far away?
Well, I use Office 2010.
As I pointed out in an email, MS wants to (mis)use AI to enforce Progressive norms (i.e., PC Totalitarianism).
Years ago I switched to Linux Mint, which looks and feels a lot like Windows XP without being Windows, and is also free. It came with the LibreOffice suite, which is the Linux version, or an offshoot, of OpenOffice, which is a free, open-source alternative to Microsoft Office, and will save documents in standard Microsoft formats for compatibility with other systems. Doesn't look like they bother with such nonsense. If you don't want to make the jump to Linux, you can still download and install OpenOffice for free, for your existing Windows system.
just use, "sexless nonspecific marks-person". That should cover it.
