Tone Deaf, Isn't She?

Put simply, Wayne is vital to our cause. [More]
Do they really think this will start those donations flowing in again, or is this really just another part of hanging on for dear life?

Music, anyone?

Whether or not WLP caused the mess NRA finds itself in, it happened on his watch and arguably due to either his action or inaction while NRA was headed into a financial ditch. One could easily make the argument that while he may not have caused the problem, the high salaries paid to him and other high level NRA officers along with the payments to Ack-Mac and NRA's law firm certainly didn't help the organization's financial situation.

Again, whether or not WLP caused the current situation, he did nothing effective to stop it. As a result, he's tied to it whether or not he caused it or is just a victim of circumstance.

NRA's membership numbers, and income are suffering, along with NRA's ability to achieve NRA's stated goals of defending 2A as a result of WLP's tarnished image along with the tarnished image of the organization itself.

In other words, MLP has become, at best, a distraction at a critical junction in the history of NRA, the struggle over gun rights, and our Republic.

It is time for him to step aside.

I am saying the above from the perspective on an NRA Endowment Life Member and have been in the organization since High School in the 1960's.

Regardless of Ms. Meadows' or Ms. Hammer's opinions, I am demonstrably no enemy of the NRA.
