Isn't that one of the main reasons we're told police should be the "Only Ones" with guns?

Anybody think the higher rates are due to superior trustworthiness and training?

I’ve included below one of my favorite “superior training” postings of all times. It indicates that if a cop is suicidal or having domestic trouble, disaster is pretty much guaranteed; otherwise, odds of escaping unscathed are surprisingly good.
