It is not an "accidental discharge" any more, it is a "negligent discharge." Modern firearms only go off unintentionally when there is poor trigger discipline. Keeping your booger hook off the bang switch until you are truly ready to shoot and destroy what you are aiming at is the only prevention. Anything else is negligence.
