And the Law-Breakers Get a Pass?

A Pennsylvania judge ruled on Tuesday that Pittsburgh's recently passed gun-control measures violate state law. [More]
So what are the penalties for appropriating public resources to engage in a conspiracy to do that?

Unfortunately, preemption laws generally have no penalty for their violation. It would be nice if someone with standing went after Mayor Peduto and company for "deprivation of civil rights under color of law."

Suggested penalty: Misconduct in Office - a Felony.

The Allegheny County (Pittsburgh), PA district attorney REFUSED to accept criminal complaints and file criminal charges against Mayor Peduto and his band of city council conspirators.

When one expects the .gov elites to apply the law to their fellow, ruling elites then there's a bridge in Arizona for you to buy.

As readers here most likely know, there are two sets of laws in this former, great nation. One set to protect the elitists of government and one set used to criminalize the deplorable untermenschen of the common citizenry.

Vintovka at 1326,

You are wrong. Read the Pennsylvania law regarding violation of the Preemption law. It is a criminal offense. Not a civil offense. Violation of that law IS a crime punishable upon conviction, to a penalty of seven years in a PA state jail !

Then again, you would have to have a District Attorney who would apply the law and prosecute his fellow, government elites. A law not enforced and prosecuted for violation of, is not a law.
