I find this equally troubling from people who should know better:
Although there needs to be an instrument of law to disarm people threatening violence, the real question is where the line should be drawn.Flesh that out. Be sure to factor in due process and how that will actually make anyone safer.
Otherwise, this is no different than antis screaming "Something must be done!"
