Any "Only One" who wants to disarm his countrymen is a contemptible, genocide-enabling domestic enemy and liar, and I put no despicable act of force, fraud, or perversion beyond him. It's tyrant enablers and wannabes like Acevedo who will be responsible for enough blood to swim and drown in if they mandate to men who would be free no other options but surrender or die.

I've met the man, and I like some of the things he's doing in the department- like requiring all officers to qualify with their firearms about four times more often than previously. He's also paying for a ton of education and outreach, like the PIP- Positive Interaction Program, and CPA- Citizen's Police Academy.
But he's a wannabe gun grabber for sure. Other local pols are angry with him for his grandstanding. One told me she was furious and that his officers are too, that he made that statement practically before the officer's body was cool.
Don't forget about his narcotics officers who killed a man and his wife in south Houston, or that we will end up releasing hundreds or even as many as thousands of violent offenders by the time the lawyers get done challenging every case that dirty cop was ever involved in.
Chief is a political position, and he's a politician. A lefty one at that.
