Would this be good cause to press DOJ about 18 U.S. Code § 241, Conspiracy Against Rights charges against anti-gun Nicki Fried if she does not clear this up immediately as she could if she wanted to?

UPDATE:
I was sent a news tip to a Gateway Pundit article dated Feb. 16. That, in turn, cited a Feb. 4 Fox 13 Tampa report as it's primary source. I prefer giving links to those who actually dig out the story, which turned out to be an AmmoLand writer and did not notice the date on his original report was from Aug. 2019.

No, I got sent a "news" tip for a 2019 article. I guess it's my bad for not noticing.
It is still ridiculous either way regardless of year and exactly why these laws are evil and a violation of basic liberty. I do wonder how it turned out though.
Nevermind - I just read the gateway pundit article and see how things ended up and the confusion over the whole thing. It doesn't detract from this being an outrageous violation of basic rights. And the police will continue to do this as long as there is no punishment for being wrong and all sorts of potential blame and loss of job if they don't "do something."
