Is it just me, or have they intentionally made that website harder to load and more demanding on the CPU for anyone who doesn't use Microsoft Edge?

I don't use anything but Firefox and haven't for some time. The page loaded pretty quickly and completely for me. But then I use Adblock Plus as well. Sometimes over 50% or more of what your browser downloads from a web page consists of cookies, spyware and ads.
Microsoft's Web 'Exploder' was such a disaster that they changed the name to 'Edge' along about version 11 or so much like some vendors have suggested that Boeing change the name of their 737-MAX to just about anything else. Supposedly the new version of Edge is a rebranded & partially rewritten version of Google's Chrome. Despite pleas from Windows 10 to give Edge a try 'cuz its really really really great, I haven't and have no intention of doing so.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
