Covid-19 cases per million are 95% higher and covid-19 deaths per million are 126% higher in states with 5G. [More]I stipulate I am unqualified to weigh in on this with an informed opinion, but present it here for those of you who are.
I do question how 5G can be proclaimed "safe" when it hasn't been around long enough to determine effects in 10 or 20 years of mass exposure.

I worked for 42 years in the network operations part of what used to be called "The Bell System." One metric always cited when a new platform was rolled out was "customers passed per mile" of new hardware installed. It was a way to maximize "bang for the buck" on new hardware dollars spent vs potential new customers that might sign up.
In small words, you're not going to deploy stuff first in backwoods Idaho where a new fiber mux, ADSL, Gigabit Ethernet, Uverse, or even 5G wireless, passes more prairie dogs than people.
Long story short, you install the new stuff in the most densely populated areas. Which coincidentally are also happy hunting grounds for diseases both new and old.
Cops in California's big cities are getting typhus. Do you think it might be exposure to 5G wireless or the hordes of homeless people pooping on the sidewalks?
Coincidence? yep. Causality? "Now that's funny right there." -- Larry the Cable Guy.
I share your skepticism about a Covid connection and don't see how there could possibly be enough data to positively conclude causation. That said, I'm still looking for someone to weigh in on 5G radiation exposure and how we can actually claim to know its safe when there appears to be no way to assess longterm effects.
I'm a professional RF engineer with 33 years experience. I am on the team that designs 4G & 5G cellular connectivity into our industrial products. I guarantee you that this is MERE CORRELATION.
And it's easy to explain.
The cell carriers ALWAYS roll out new technology in the largest cities first. The largest cities are also the ones that are infected with socialism, Demonrat politicians, unrestrained illegal immigration, and COVID-19. THAT is your correlation.
Again, I'm inclined to defer to you and Larry TCG on a Covid causation. That still leaves my question unanswered: How can we determine there are no serious longterm radiation exposure effects without longterm exposure?
I was going to say the same thing as the other two -- the big blue cities get all the cool new tech first. Out where I live, occasional 4G is a treat.
How do we know the technology is safe? Because 5G is only a way of using a certain set of EM frequencies. But frequencies are frequencies, and they've been used for other purposes in other places at various power levels for a long, long time. Now, we're bound to find some tiny subset of humanity that may be sensitive to them, like we did with power lines and magnetic fields, but that shouldn't demonize the technology any more than we consider decorative orange trees as generally dangerous just because some people are allergic to their pollen.
You can be sure, because it's non-ionizing radiation, and at the power levels being used probably about as powerful as the 2.4GHz radiation that flows through your body when next to your microwave and your 802.11 wireless router.
As a matter of fact, we're well versed in this radiation, as it will use 600MHZ, 900MHZ and 2.5GHz - well-known, long-used frequencies.

I was going to relate my background in RF engineering with applications to biomedical equipment, then my final years in cancer research at U.C. Irvine and development of research techniques using emf and light (laser) effects on tissue, and post a couple dozen links to articles detailing the dangers of ALL cell phone frequencies. But, not wanting to bore readers with all that, here's one single link to a paper with HUNDREDS of cites and references to scientific studies - most arranged by the type of damage to various systems:
