Speaking of 'Gun Violence'

He said that as looters neared the store, they instead decided to keep walking once they saw his AR-15 and the other guns. [More]
So arms in the hands of the moral and determined actually deter violence? And cowardly defenselessness encourages it?

More likely he had a defective gun since we're constantly being told by political and police "leaders," the media, and "commonsense gun safety groups" that such weapons of war have no purpose but to rapidly kill scores of people...

'The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If “Thou shall not covet,” and “Thou shall not steal,” are not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, before it can be civilized or made free.' - John Adams, A Defence of the Constitutions of Government (1787)
