I received the following email last night that raises an interesting question:
It has been six days since a "51 year-old man" was screaming in front of the White House that he was going to kill someone, then reached into his pocket, pulled something out, took a shooter's stance/crouch and was shot twice in the torso by the Secret Service.
Then, for the past 5 or 6 days, NOTHING. His name was released, Myron Berryman, and we know he used to live in Dayton, OH. But no photo has been published, and we still have no idea if he was black or white.
Is this going to be like the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Hotel shooting - no investigation and no video, ever?
Any thoughts?
He's right about no news. In re further identifiers, this is pretty much what's out there.
Why the lack of follow-up?
