That’s significant because these two demographics, along with blue collar voters who traditionally vote as Democrats, are clearly feeling threatened by the danger in the streets. More to the point, they are demographics Trump has been reaching out to, hoping to bring at least some of them into the GOP fold in 2020. Given that these people have invested in self-protection firearms for a reason, it is reasonable to assume that at least some of these will be reluctant to vote for Biden, given his strong anti-gun status and rhetoric. Here's hoping that when people have something that others want to take away that they'll become resentful and protective.

The problem is that these people will realize all this one cycle too late. They never owned guns before, so they never paid attention when leftists moved to grab guns. But Ds won't be busy grabbing guns prior to the election, so they'll still vote D this cycle. When the Ds plan their next gun grab campaign, these new gun owners will suddenly "discover" the problem, but it'll be too late.
