Sorry if I don't view the embrace of communism by the church as anything other than spiritual wickedness in high places.
As such, I really should take this false "pope" more seriously, and treat him less like a joke and more like the threat that he is.

Meh. Any ACTUAL Catholic has learned to ignore the man. There are fringe-left Catholics who promote every syllable of what Francis says, but who cares?
Ergo, I don't categorize him as an "existential" threat. He IS a grave inconvenience to the Church and will do damage. But then, lots of other Bishops and Popes have tried to destroy the Church--advertently or not--over the centuries.
They failed.
