Omitting Core Purpose of 2nd Amendment in Semi-Auto Arguments Advances Total Disarmament Agenda

They are ignoring our God-given given right to defend ourselves, our families, and our liberty against tyranny, and our ability to do so with what Continental Congress delegate Tench Coxe called “the sword and every other terrible implement of the soldier.” [More]

You can't ensure "the security of a free State" by depriving "the people" of their ability to provide it.

Boiled down to its essence, The Battle of Lexington was an incident that neither side wanted or expected, that started off as a "Charlie Foxtrot" on both sides leading up to "the shot heard round the world" likely being a negligent discharge either in or behind the tavern adjacent to the green where Capt. Parker was attempting to muster his men.

But by the end of the day, some 3000 formerly (mostly) loyal British subjects had run, some of them for miles, to get a chance to shoot at the armed forces of their own country.

As a result of their efforts, the original column had to abandon its goals, fall back to Boston, and made a successful withdrawal only after being rescued by a relief column equipped with field artillery.

Now if you were our government, or any government, would you want to teach that story to your people? I think not!

I'd suggest everyone reading this take some time to hunt down a copy of "William Diamond's Drum" and give the full story of April 19th, 1775 some serious thought.

Your Firearms News columns are quite scholarly.

I wonder how the FB / twitterverse treats these columns.

Certainly there is an audience there that needs an education.

Funny you should mention that. It does not go over so well with writing critics who don't know how to use apostrophes.
