It would appear the only thing they really have on him is the possession of heroin. The State gave him the FOID and CCW, so that's on them. Weed is legal here now, so the only thing I can think of is that he is over the arbitrary limit of how much one can have. I don't see where they can charge him with 5 counts of unlawful use of a weapon, he wasn't using any of them. I don't see how they can charge him felony armed violence. I also didn't know it was a felony to possess body armor. This is an out of control prosecutor throwing wet spaghetti at the wall and seeing what will stick.
