Band of Brothers

The military knows it has a problem with domestic extremists, white supremacists [More]

Looks like there's plenty of blame to go around.

But focusing on that won't purge those who would heed their oaths and disobey unlawful orders, so guess who gets smeared...

TANGENTIALLY-RELATED UPDATE:
Neither Hoffman nor Hokanson responded to requests for details on what would flag a guardsman deployed for Capitol security, whether that was specific ties to extremism, documented threats against Capitol or inauguration security or political speech against the Biden or supporting outgoing President Donald Trump. Remember Kent State? Since then it has become SOP for Florida guard personnel to be deployed with weapons but no ammo. My understanding is that similar policies are/were in effect in other states as well. During the McDuffy riots, my brother was a cop assigned to a road block on NW 135th Street just south of Opa-Locka airport. He asked to borrow my Mini-14. I had only 1 20 round box of .223 ammo for him to use. He said it wouldn't be a problem because the roadblock east of the one established by HPD was manned by Florida National Guard and he'd probably be able to get more from them.

When he asked the guardsmen, they didn't have any.

I wonder what their situation is in Washington today.
