One wonders if Garland will give up a lifetime appointment in exchange for one that may last the length of the Harris/Biden administration.

Not sure any will NEED to but I figure we can count on the usual suspects to do so.
DDS, what makes you think Kameltoe (I figure she's going to do a 25th Amendment on Dopey/Gropey Joe by Labor day at the latest) will not be followed by another Democrat ad infinitum? I don't expect to live to the next election (have to live longer than my Mom for that) but I truly believe that DJT will go down in history as the last Republican president. I see no reason to believe that a Republican (other than - possibly - a RINO) will ever be elected again. Paige Wolf called it correctly. They HAVE (by hook and by crook) won the f-ing trifecta. I believe we are entering a time where Genesis chapter 11 verse 6 is in action. The only limits on them will be their own incompetence. Think back to the days just before Nancy Pelosi became Speaker and all her grand predictions. Then think about the little they actually did. Heck! The couldn't even get O'Bozocare passed without a feat of parliamentary legerdemain wherein the bill was deemed to have passed.
