I'm going to have to throw the "Bullshoot" flag on that one, I seem to recall reading that people were pretty dissatisfied with government in the 1770's and again in the 1860's. Until or unless this cultural struggle enters a wholesale shooting phase, I think the Revolutionary War and War Between the States have the current situation beat hands down.
As a side note, it is always rather amusing to see people who think human history started on the day of their birth.
