When you're living in an illusion, you're denying reality. Nothing good can ever come of that, but plenty that's bad sure can.

This is the source of much of the inevitable left-on-left cannibalism: feminists offended at transgenders, Democrats demanding Pelosi be fined for bypassing her own metal detector, Chicago mayor vs. teacher union, black communities upset at uncontrolled Hispanic immigration, Antifa tagging "F* Biden" on Democrat headquarters. It's that everybody living a leftist fantasy is living a different one. When people differ on reality, we can establish which version is sane; on the left, all versions are sane because they are all "true" to someone's leftist fantasy.
