Law Enforcement Mum on Montana Gun Confiscation Story

 

In today’s highly charged environment, with justifiable fears of gun confiscations, “red flag laws,” and the like being enforced against gun owners who have committed no crimes, it should be in the interests of all parties to be transparent with charges and counterclaims. When this appeared online, I spoke to a friend who lives in the Kalispell area; he stated no mention of the "raid" in local papers or other news outlets, nor any gossip. The 'Montana Daily Gazette' is an online news outlet, not a printed paper like the Billings Gazette. It also appears to be a very new effort. I think, at most, some form of raid did occur, with the presence of Kalispell Police Department's Bearcat armored vehicle. Some observer jumped to conclusions and shot their mouth off. The Flathead valley is known to be a landing spot for people who need to live without attracting official attention. Time will tell....
