Astronomers worldwide got pissed beyond belief when Starlink filled the sky with 1,140 shiny satellites without asking (their target number is 30,000). This chalk thing would no doubt make them absolutely homicidal. Who knows, perhaps a final solution to our Gates problem.
Also can't wait to see what this does to global soil pH. Would be ironic if America's brand-new biggest owner of private farmland broke farming.

After seeing the steps needed to get approval to release sterile mosquitos in the Florida Keys, I can't wait to see the environmental impact studies Gates will have to complete before he even gets close to his chalk project.
I mean, he's only talking about impacting every ecosystem on the planet.
