Of course, they're Democrats. And of course so mostly is Parma, or Amrap as the legendary Ghoulardi used to call it back when you could still make bowling shirt and white sock jokes about the significant concentration there of a "certain ethnic" population, further popularized by Hoolihan and Big Chuck. (Someday I may tell the story of my college pals and me being on their "New Talent Time" when we got hooked off the sound stage after turning "When the Saints Come Marching In" into "Bang Bang Lulu." Oh, wait, I just did.)

In some cases where the nickname is clearly derogatory, such as "Washington Redskins", some adjustments are warranted.
In others, where the people referred to are treated with respect, such as "Florida State Seminoles" said group has declared that they like having their name out there in public in the way it is promoted by the school and therefore no changes are necessary and probably undesirable.
For cases somewhere in between those, such as "Atlanta Braves", some adult judgement would be needed. The biggest stumbling block there would be the Left's lack of said adult judgement.
