What makes them think the men behind the curtain will let their puppets do anything more than redirect, discredit and lie?

To date, if I am correct, no one individual employed by any federal entity has been fired for incompetence, charged with mal or misfeasance, or faced any disciplinary action for failure to perform assigned duties.
I would guess many were promoted in order to gain retirement at bigger pay rates. But of course we'll never know for certain.
Inside dealing weasels (remember Jamie Gore-lick) were tapped for a commission to whitewash the whole deal and the beat goes on.
Still waiting for the JFK records, 50 some odd years on.
