As far as I know, "ghost guns" haven't presented any problem in my rather upscale city in the Miami area. Meanwhile, the City of Miami proper seems to be having a problem.

Odd, that!

Perhaps its not about the serial number or lack thereof, or whether or not the gun was made at home here in Miami-Dade County or in Springfield, MA.

Perhaps its more about demographics, the presence or absence of people who would misuse a gun, any gun, in the commission of a crime.

Perhaps Codrea is right, and Schumer is wrong.

Some people just can't be trusted without a custodian and the presence or absence of firearms, serial numbers, place of manufacture, and or materials used are interesting details that don't matter much in the long run.

But fact based arguments are also irrelevant details in Schumer's world.
