Alcohol Detection Systems Will Now Be Mandatory In All New Vehicles [More]

Automatic Self-Snitching System: Because the Fourth and Fifth Amendments are just for those with something to hide.

You never had a right to travel on roads you paid for anyway. Just ask the servants whose salaries you pay.

Sensors will report to roadside interrogators: souls on board with ID pursuant to use of RFID tags in state issued docs, seat belts in use, speed, heading, status of emission systems, wants & warrant info based on ID of occupants, video from onboard cams, disabling of vehicle if any sensors are disabled, you have no right to free movement, step out of the vehicle with hands visible.
Oh, and there will be sensors to detect and report presence of alcohol and firearms by sniffing for aromatics released from spirits and from gunpowder.
Have a nice day.

How soon before someone sells a battery powered device that heats, humidifies and pressurizes ambient air to approximate a human exhaled breath?
Sounds a lot like a variant of my CPAP machine crossed with an AMBU bag.

Anything they can invent someone else can figure out how to disable.

How many laws have they passed to get rich folks to "pay their fare share" of taxes? I've completely lost track, but apparently they haven't worked so well yet.
