And that goes for all of you who carry.

A friend took away a bunch of lessons from his time in Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. One of them was:
"If you find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing something wrong."
Kyle Rittenhouse wasn't the only one armed that night. One of them pointed a pistol at Kyle's head. Rittenhouse fired first.
Famous lawman Bill Jordan wrote a book on gunfighting. The title "No Second Place Winner" pretty much sums it up.
The takeaway from the trial is that the state / prosecutors are the legal arm of the “bad guys” and they will lie, cheat and deny you your rights if you get in the way of their precious mobs burning down your property.
It’s only property.
Up is down, day is night.
The government represents the communist locusts that seek to eat your substance.
Everybody points to the last offender (Grosskreutz) as being armed... but a stronger argument is that the actual first offender (Ziminski, who is often overlooked) was also armed, and fired the first shots. Kyle was fleeing at the time and had no way of knowing whether or not those shots were actually aimed at him, but he sure as heck knew who was shooting them and that he was a hostile.
