Arming the population is a good play. The gun grabbers typically hate Russia that destroyed the Soviet remnant so anything that hurts their enemy (Putin may bring Trump back) is acceptable. Those White, nationalistic, Nazi Ukrainians can't get to the American Progressives/ Woke/Socialists, so why worry?
