Back from the Dead?

Rather than let the bill die, President Pro Tem Rod Bray (R-Martinsville) says he’s working with House leaders to find another bill they can gut to make room for the gun permit language ...  Bray says leaders haven’t decided which bill will house the provision, nor what form the bill will take ... Legislators must adjourn for the year by March 14 but are expected to end the session sometime next week. [More]

That's a bit different from:

[P]er WTHR, it’s not quite dead yet, but it sure looks like arcane rules and maneuverings are getting ready to drive in the final nail: “Lawmakers may insert language from the bill into a different one. The Senate’s third reading deadline is Tuesday, the House’s deadline is Monday. Bills that are not approved by those dates will die on the floor.”

Be nice to send an "In Your FACE!" to Doug Carter, but I'm not counting any chickens yet.
