Finally, we were unable to analyze the impact of permitless-carry laws because of the small number of observations. Only 4 states had permitless-carry laws in place during the study period. However, in the past 2 years, an additional 5 states have enacted such laws. Elucidating the impact of permitless-carry laws will require follow-up for the 9 states that now have such laws in effect.
We could get into the whole correlation/causation logical fallacy, the fact that permit holders are significantly more law-abiding than the "Only Ones," that criminals don't obey laws, and that homicides aren't homogeneously distributed throughout the population but concentrated among a hardcore lawless urban element, and that while rates can appear more impactful in lower-population areas, the real numbers in those high-population areas hardly reflect a prohibition success story.
Except there's no need to do that here because once it's been demonstrated this hoplophobic dweeb's either ignorant or lying, why waste any more time on him?
