Either/Or
Why do we need Oathkeepers. Our current military, police, all took the oath. Don’t we trust them like civilians trusted us when we took the oath?
Why is the government, whom we elect, the enemy?
Jim, former Marine, not an Oathkeepers. Once was good enough for me.
Relax guys. The Republic is in good hands. To say otherwise shows disrespect to all who now serve.
Jim (not an Oathkeeper, , and I think this is all a bit wacky). [More]So is "Jim" just an idiot or a troll? Or both?
Rush Limbaugh Recognizes Buried Truth Behind Fast and Furious ‘Gunwalking’
Those guns ended up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels,” Limbaugh explained.
“So the way they do it is to try to create a mass hysteria,” he elaborated. “The program backfired because it was discovered.” [More]Meanwhile, Soros-funded apparatchiks dismiss that as "wild conspiracy theory," and the mainstream press dutifully spreads the "botched gun sting" misdirection.
One Question...
In order to protect gun rights in our state, GRNC-PVF is seeking volunteers to distribute the remaining voter guides, so that as many voters as possible will be armed with information on pro-gun, pro-liberty candidates, as well as information about their anti-gun opponents. Sanctuary!
Garcia, who pleaded guilty last month and faces 13 months in prison, had only recently been released from the Kern County Jail. He likely would have been deported again, but local authorities were unable to report him to immigration authorities because of California’s new sanctuary city law, which prohibited the sheriff from communicating with federal agents. [More]That one hits close to home away from home. I know that area well, and was just there in August visiting a property my wife and I have been partners in for over 25 years,
Fire danger is compounded by bark beetles, responsible for killing millions of trees in the area, and creating plenty of fuel. Add in the near-death through hostile legislation of the California logging industry (the property I mentioned used to be a logging town) and federal and state EPAs creating near-impossible pesticide approval "standards," and is it any wonder Mother Jones ties in "global warming" to advance Rahm Emanuel's tactic to never let a crisis go to waste?

Unable to vote in the presidential election, a group of undocumented immigrants is knocking on doors in Northern Virginia in support of Hillary Clinton and other Democratic candidates, convinced that the outcome of the vote will determine whether they can secure a path to citizenship in the country they have known since childhood. Oregon Militia ‘Report’ another Astroturf-Funded Collectivist Smear of Patriots
With us being treasonous bigots and sociopaths as its major premise, we’re absolved of any obligation to wade through any more lies, no matter how exhaustively end-noted they may appear to be. We’re free to follow admonition #2 and “expose who benefits” from this slick piece of propaganda masked as “research,”designed to give collectivist politicians and LE fusion centers cover under which they can continue smearing patriots as “domestic terrorists.” [More]Judging by the innuendo and conflation, it looks like foundation-funded commies don't approve of guys like me.

Snitches and Provocateurs Find Easy Pickings in Low-Hanging Fruit
Now’s as good a time as any to restate concerns and urge cautions in all our communications and activities, and to emphasize that as far as informants, undercover operatives and provocateurs are concerned, what you say and do not only can be used against you in a court of law, the person egging you on may be doing so specifically with entrapment in mind. Points of Clarification
Inspired by this comment...
The colleges involved are public.
Even so, private parties can and have been successfully sued for violating civil rights. Cases in point, landlords for rent discrimination, employers for EEO violations, businesses for segregated services... And Title IX opens college athletics programs up for all kinds of imposed requirements.
And then there's Section 1983...
It goes beyond race as well, and enters into the ideological -- hence we have lawsuits against Christian bakers for refusing to supply a "gay wedding" cake, and suits over "matters of conscience"...
Note I never specifically defined the legal action I anticipated as being limited to 2A -- not being a lawyer, I'd hesitate to predict what role that would play as a part of a complaint. My contention here is that the college gun ban is not enforceable and is challengeable -- by the right plaintiff with the right lawyer producing the right arguments in the right jurisdiction. My opinion is that, if handled properly, it is winnable.

College Football Player Gun Bans Could Be Ripe for Legal Challenge
![]() |
| More than what? |
The stupid gun ban extends beyond the field, beyond team activities, beyond the school. It intrudes and infringes on private choices to exercise supposedly unalienable rights. And while some may argue that many “college athletes” don’t have the requisite judgment and moral development to be trusted with guns, such rights aren’t something that can be legitimately withheld – at least without full due process and all that implies. Barring that, any such mandates are capricious, collectivist, tyrannical and un-American. [More]It would be interesting if a patriotic student athlete defied the ban, bought a handgun, informed his coach and was subsequently barred from playing. I'd bet on that game.

I guess everything is going to depend on how potential supporters balance their personal scales. Fifteen years ago, HUD took a stronger stance on the issue of guns in public housing. I've tried raising public interest in questionable ATF practices involving National Survival Store:
- Questionable Gun Store Bank Transactions Merit Congressional Inquiry of ATF
- Expired FFL Raises Further Questions about ATF Oversight of Gun Store
Because there were allegations of ATF sanctioning illegal gun transactions, I tried to interest reporters and Congress to look into them, as they have resources I don't. Crickets.
Reader interest in the story has been pretty underwhelming, probably because it's so complex, and I haven't been (and won't be) able to devote anywhere near the attention it needs -- there's only one of me, and there are plenty of other priorities that demand attention.
There's a video Wesley Felix posted on Facebook tying Wells Fargo account fraud allegations in with alleged gun purchases by an ATF agent on an expired FFL. I don't know how to embed into Blogger, so if you want to see it, you need to click this link.
I think you'll see how just viewing pieces highlights the need for someone with the ability to compile them. See, there's plenty more that still needs to be unraveled, and Felix is willing to give them plenty of information.
What's clear from the (lack of) response thus far is I have failed on my own to get this launched into Big Boy Media. So -- what do I do to get more notice for the "irregularities"? I'll once again post a plea on social media, and invite both discussion and for readers to be force multipliers and spread the word. But ultimately, a disputed-origin quote comes to mind.
What's needed is for those who have kept up with this story to contact House Oversight and Senate Judiciary. Barring that happening, I'm at a loss.
UPDATE: Once more I've delivered my message.
Anybody care to join me?
Old, Stupid and White Buckeyes
Ohio has not fallen into step with the demographic changes transforming the United States, growing older, whiter and less educated than the nation at large. [More]So you're sure the first two conditions are related to the third?
See, we can compare my town high school with, say, a more "progressive" and "diverse" one, and I guess if you want to be a Democrat about it you'll play the "white privilege" race card.
Me, I prefer to look at expenditures per student:
Neat collectivist trick there -- fail, no matter how much tax plunder you squander on the political machine patronage trough, and then disparage the ones you're robbing of their earned assets and heritage. Like it's their fault.
And we have enough stupid white Ohio "progressives" who have "fallen into step" to make it a horse race.
The New York Times. Deceiving America on behalf of totalitarians since, like, forever.
Who Needs a 'Weapon of War'?
How about someone facing multiple assailants making war on him? [More]
Here's a little thought project we all can do in our heads: Come up with a list of politicians, "famous" people and "common sense gun safety" groups that would rather see this man, his employees and customers DEAD than to see him "legally" armed with an AK.
