Knew or Should Have Known

The complaint alleges that less than two weeks before purchasing the Taurus, Badger Guns negligently and illegally sold Fernandez a Masterpiece Arms 9 mm assault weapon, two high-capacity thirty round ammunition clips, and a flash suppressor. [More]

Did Fernandez lie?

Did whatever ID he provided pass the NICS?

When the Brady complaint says "gun dealers should screen suspicious purchasers" beyond the requirements of the law, might doing so to minorities like the criminal involved in this case lead to charges for illegal racial profiling?

When the Brady complaint then says store policy should apply to "every potential handgun purchaser," doesn't that mean in their opinion every gun buyer is "suspicious"--in spite of their earlier assurances that their lawsuit "does not in any way challenge the right of law-abiding citizens..."?

Anybody have details on this that don't involve these jackasses soiling their thongs in anticipation of renewed relevance? Because the major complaint I see here is that the gun dealer being sued is not psychic.

They know--or should know--that type of subversive harassment just steels the resolve of some of us.

Enough of us.

Another Big "But" Gun Owner

Morally, hunting deer for sport is no different than hunting people. [More]
I dunno, pally--why don't you try hunting people to stop it and let's see?
Humans need population control more than deer

Josh Briggs must be racist and xenophobic then, because a 1.8 total fertility rate for non-Hispanic white women means such couples aren't even replacing themselves--and that doesn't even specify the race of women's partners. Maybe, since he sees no difference between hunting people and hunting deer, he can effect a little population control among the groups he thinks "need" it?

These Ingrid Newkirk types (but he swears he's not!) have a hell of a lot of gall talking morality.

As if that would have any bearing on our unalienable right to keep and bear arms...Fool presumes to tamper with a law he doesn't even understand...

Still, it's discouraging to know a lot of gun owners don't get that, either.

Is anti-gun Chuck Schumer poised to become Senate Majority Leader?

Before the chorus of “We told you so” begins, let me just say this:

So what?[More]

A Quandary

Scientists Find 'Liberal Gene' [More]
Smells like BS to me, but let's take it at face value for a moment.  So if prospective parents could screen for it in order to abort affected fetuses, would the "progressives" try to pass a law against that?

We're the Only Ones Providing a Real Shot in the Arm Enough

The officer, who was holding a gun in his right hand and a flashlight in his left hand while chasing the man across a field June 12, was in “plain clothes” and did not have a holster for his gun, according to Ombudsman reports. [More]
This sounds like just the guy to add whole new wrinkle to the Lee Paige experience.

We're the Only Ones "Is This Some Kind of Bust?" Enough

Yes, very nice:
It quickly became clear, however — as bartenders, patrons and exotic dancers were ordered to the floor and handcuffed — that they were part of some type of raid.

We're the Only Ones Resistable Enough

The guard pulled a gun on the officer after he allegedly hit her, the police official said. He said the guard would not be charged because she acted in self defense. [More]
Unbelievable!

How the hell are we supposed to make it home at the end of our shift if quasi-"Only Ones" are allowed to resist? If this keeps up, regular "civilians" may start getting ideas...

It does make me wonder what else Officer Donnie took for granted during those 15 years, to where he ended up feeling comfortable assaulting a woman over a parking dispute...for her not to be charged implies her story must be unshakable.

A True North Summit

Join us for a program of guest panelists to discuss collaborative organizing, legal options and political strategy. We will also engage in round-robin discussions designed to develop an ambitious and assertive program, one that enhances and promotes the rights of firearm owners in a visible political campaign. [More]
We are everywhere, eh?

Wish them well--they're starting from a tremendously disadvantaged place compared to where most of us are.  It's nice to see some refuse to just capitulate.

As with us, though, I fear attempting reasoned discourse with evil will just not be enough.  Hats off to the determined minority.

May they--and we--prove sufficiently determined.

We're the Only Ones "Cut!" Enough

A police officer can also be seen and heard telling a witness to stop videographing the incident. [More]
