Slice of Life

Man who killed Richmond police officer granted parole despite life sentence [More]
In fairness, he hasn't shot anyone execution-style in over 40 years, so it must be safe to open the cage.

The Hurrier I Go

Results have shrunk significantly in just two weeks since the last report.

Forgive me for wondering how much is an updated algorithm and how much is directed.

Intercepted Enemy Dispatches

We’ve been getting hit a little too. The mommies hate when you FOIA school districts and local governments and get their comms lol [More]
Regular readers here know I do FOIAs all the time and report on the results. This business of going after government/MILM corroboration strikes me as intriguing, so I asked for examples.  Follow the "More" link to see some.

Interesting stuff.

This Ought to End Well

Inslee appoints Judge G. Helen Whitener to state Supreme Court [More]
Curious-- she's not shy about flouting laws she disagrees with from her native land of Trinidad.

Any guesses on if she'll agree with this?

Trapped Like Rats?

In the way of background, Zimmerman is charging that Trayvon Martin’s support team, including Martin’s parents and their attorney Benjamin Crump, knowingly substituted an imposter witness for the real “phone witness” in order to secure Zimmerman’s arrest for the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. [More]
I wonder if the defendants are losing any sleep...

Sterile Bee Queen 'Activism'

According to WWJ-AM, however, a petition to recall the governor would "require language approved by the state board of canvassers for circulation," as well as "signatures of well over 700,000 registered Michigan voters" in order to take the issue of recall to the actual ballot. [More]
If anyone deserves it...

But that would mean people would have to get up off their asses and with "social distancing," we're not likely to see canvassing signature gatherers.

Anybody know if that's even considered "essential"...?

UPDATE:
The Michigan Conservative Coalition and Michigan Freedom Fund, who organized the protest, asked for protesters to surround the Capitol in their vehicles at noon Wednesday...
Well, that's a bit more like it. I'd wear a mask and if my license plate was recorded and "authorities" showed up at my door, I'd wonder if someone took my car for a joyride and returned it...

A Non-Essential Worker

“I have no interest in going back now. How do you get there? Train? Plane?” House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Nita Lowey told C-SPAN Monday of returning to Congress on April 20. [More]
What, do the job we reap fabulous rewards from...? What do you think we are, little people?

And here's the kicker:
“Unless it’s safe, I think we are better off doing our work, as we have been doing, passing bills by unanimous consent,” she continued, referencing a rule that allows bills in Congress to pass as long as no present members voice objections.
That's not what the provision is for. But I can see the tyrannical-minded amending that and "voice voting" all kinds of "controversial work."

What could go wrong?

You Can Say That Again!

Democratic presidential candidate Joseph R. Biden Jr., a U.S. senator from Delaware, was driven from the nomination battle after delivering, without attribution, passages from a speech by British Labor party leader Neil Kinnock. A barrage of subsidiary revelations by the press also contributed to Biden's withdrawal: a serious plagiarism incident involving Biden during his law school years; the senator's boastful exaggerations of his academic record at a New Hampshire campaign event; and the discovery of other quotations in Biden's speeches pilfered from past Democratic politicians. Just a reminder on the type of self-serving, in-your-face and not very bright thief he was before dementia set in...

I Got the Urge, the Urge to Purge

Urge Senators to Counter Pelosi’s Anti-gun Agenda - NOTE: This is a special request to all Republican Senators to reject Nancy Pelosi’s anti-gun wish list [More]
I treat it more as a demand. I replaced their form letter with this:
If the Republicans side with the Democrats on this, any pretense of turning to the system for redress of grievances will no longer be possible to maintain.
I do like the fact that the message a few of us have been sending GOA for years looks like it's finally sunk in, that it takes the wind out of activists' sails asking us to write Democrats.

It took me under one minute to do this.

Brady McDonald’s Analogy More Evidence of Desperate Gun-Grabber Lies

Just as first-time gun owners are finding out they can’t just “buy a gun online” and they’re not easier to get than “books” and “vegetables,” all state and federal infringements that the gun-grabbers have insisted on still apply. [More]
These people are more than a few fries short of a Happy Meal.

'Comments are Turned Off'

Of course they are.

Jeez, you'd think if this was posted on the 10th and if today's the 13th, a national group would have more than this:

Especially with such a panel of "experts" and assurances from all that the country is starving for disarmament and even NRA members are overwhelmingly desperate for more of it...

You believe that, don't you?

I'd say it's important to watch all 1:01:15 of this to know what the enemy has planned, but I think we all know by now, and truth be known, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stomach these bedwetters.

Speaking of Spiritual Wickedness in High Places

On Easter Sunday, Pope Francis sent a letter to leaders of social movements promoting "structural changes" to the "economy of exclusion and inequality." Among other things, he encouraged these activists to use the coronavirus crisis as an opportunity to spur radical change and launch a "humanistic and ecological conversion." He also endorsed the idea of a universal basic income (UBI), championed by former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang. [More]
I'd say Pope Commie is focused on the wrong world.

You'll Be Surprised, You're Doing the French Mistake - Voila!

The first bad decision was that, in contrast to the European Union fantasies, borders apparently do matter. France never closed them; instead it allowed large numbers of potential virus-carriers to enter the country. [More]
But gee, what's that got to do with us?

I mean, Sanctuary Newsom is at 83% approval.

And it's not like this has anything to do with guns.

Would You Like an Apple Pie With That?

Anti-gunners: OMG! Now you can buy guns as easily as a burger and fries! OMG! [More]
That must explain all the libs complaining about how hard it is compared to what they've been told.

If the gun-grabbers didn't have lies, they'd have nothing.
