It's Not Gun Dealer Honesty I'm Worried About

 S. 2320: Keeping Gun Dealers Honest Act of 2021 [More]

This is insulting right off the bat -- assuming citizen dishonesty and presuming only anti-gun Democrats have the integrity to ensure ethical conduct.

Figures it's coming from that weasel Markey.

It's been tried before, by Deutchbag in 2018 and Markey in 2019.

This time around it's given a 12% chance of passing prognosis.

The More Dead Children Through Mandated Ignorance Act of 2016

“The small hands of children and big power of machine guns are a deadly combination,” Markey said in a statement. “Assault weapons are weapons of war and should not be allowed in the hands of children." [More]
This lying parasite and every traitor like him has blood on their hands, because it's children who are ignorant of guns who end up "accidentally" shooting themselves and others (it's actually incompetence on the part of parents to not provide development -- not "age" -- appropriate training.

I handled that for my children, they never came closer to a mishap, and the damn busybodies can keep their snotty noses out of that relationship. If I'd relied on central bureaucratic control, we wouldn't have the fine young savages feral sons Uday and Qusay have grown into.

Markey gets bonus points for repeating the Sugarmann lie, and his "small hands" fixation would eliminate plenty of adults who wouldn't measure up.

Fortunately, this will go nowhere  -- at least for now. But it does show how the state monopoly of violence cultists throw up in-your-face harassment every chance they get.

I think it's safe to say this useful idiot couldn't get a job doing gun/hunting writing for a non-leftist rag or he'd be "Zumboed"/"Coopered"--as would be our right, despite his huffs and puffs of what-kind-of-people-are-these? indignation. I also think this whole New West venture bears looking into. I note the founder has been an LA Times writer, journalism professor and globalist who has partnered with a product of UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism... with everything that implies for bringing urban "progressive" thought to the last bastions of pioneer country under the guise of conscientious environmental stewardship.

You know: watermelons.

But backed by rich watermelons nonetheless:

New West Publishing is backed by a group of angel investors, including Boulder-based venture capitalist Brad Feld, former Microsoft CFO John Connors*, and television personality Maury Povich.
Thankfully, when the agenda is complete, the elites will still be able to enjoy Rocky Mountain resort living amidst pristine wilderness (that would be off limits "wildlands" to the rest of us). Heck, we won't even have to do any new drilling, and they'll still be able to jet in! And if you play your cards right, well, I'm sure they'll need servants and support staff, for those of you in ranching, mining, logging, etc. who can't move away and get city jobs.

1Sanders not rated by NRA for 2008 cycle. Last rating (2006) was C-.
2At Large delegates for Guam, US Virgin Islands and Washington, DC--not rated.
3 Tubbs Jones died before the election. New candidates unrated by NRA.
4Based on their list, the Progressive Caucus doesn't even know their own members. Linda Sanchez is District 39. Loretta Sanchez is District 47. Linda has F grades from GOA and NRA. Loretta has an F from GOA and a D from NRA.
5Udall has been elected to the US Senate.
6GOA's rationale per below graphic (click to enlarge).

* Apparently Connors is more of a Bush RINO...but Feld is a rich democrat contributor, and Povich is, well, Mr. Connie Chung.

Maloney + Markey =

A lot of malarkey... [More]

Banking on Disarmament

U.S. Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and U.S. Reps. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.), and Jennifer Wexton, (D-Va.) introduced The Gun Violence Prevention Through Financial Intelligence Act, H.R. 5764, in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the U.S. Senate as S. 3117. The legislation is troublesome because the politicians authoring it pitch it as a means to detect and prevent those who might be planning to commit an atrocity or terror attack. [More]

And guess who they want everyone to think are atrocity-committing terrorists.

An Idea Whose Time Has Come

Sen. Markey says all police must be disarmed of 'weapons of war' including tear gas, rubber bullets [More]

Welcome to your turn in the barrel, "Only Ones"!

I'm just wondering which nation's army takes to the field with bean bags. And I guess real weapons of war against "civilians" are OK with the guy.

Can we start with the Capitol Police and these guys...?

You Get a Check and You Get a Check and You Get a Check!

Give everyone $2,000 a month until this crisis is over. [More]

What can I say but "Markey"?

Besides "Cloward-Piven"?

Or the deliberate destruction of the economy by a self-serving domestic enemy?

Or Marxism?

But hey, it's reelection time and he's got a mindless mob to incite.

Just a question, though: If you're going to "give" something to someone, shouldn't it be yours first?

Sorry-- I guess that's why there'll be no room for people like me when the hive insect infestation is complete.

The Finest Votes Money Can Buy

"A lot of the people in my district voted blue in the runoff for two main reasons. One: Loeffler and Perdue denying us relief during COVID while profiting millions themselves; and two, $2,000 checks," he said. [More]

In other words, they were bribed.

I suppose it would be "baseless" of me to point out that's proof there was enough voter fraud in Georgia to steal the election... or would that get me banned?

And that's quite the economist Ed Markey is, no, with his $2K/month for the duration? Although in fairness, there is a way to do what he's demanding.
