Hessian Continues War on Guns/Reuters Continues War on Truth

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said on Friday that citizen patrols of his state's border with Mexico must be unarmed to avoid violence... Schwarzenegger had expressed support in April for the vigilantes, who began patrolling the U.S.-Mexican border in Arizona to draw attention to illegal immigration...

Arnhole's move doesn't surprise me--I would expect no less from a foreign national (he never gave up his Austrian citizenship--even though he swore an oath to renounce it when he "became" an American) who was the first governor to ban, among other things, politically incorrect caliber bolt action and semiauto rifles. I also expect California gun owners will roll over in fear and vote for him again because of the Democrats--again giving the Republicans carte blanche to continue their betrayals under the can't-prove it-by-me "lesser of two evils" doctrine. And I expect the major gun groups to continue giving the Hessian a pass--just like they did last time--and to withhold the truth from their members about their involvement with Arnold, as evidenced by this deleted page.

Also deleted for some (CYA) reason is Reuters' explanation for why they no longer use the word "terrorist" when describing head-sawing, civilian-bombing savages. I bring this up because "reporter" Jim Christie isn't shy about branding peaceable Americans who simply observe and report crimes to the authorities as "vigilantes." So much for Reuters' vaunted editorial pledge:

We do not take sides and attempt to reflect in our stories, pictures and video the views of all sides. We are not in the business of glorifying one side or another or of disseminating propaganda. Reuters journalists do not offer their own opinions or views.

Right.

Heretic!

A Reuters data scientist questioned the Black Lives Matter narrative—so the company fired him. [More]

In fairness, they did give him a chance to recant...

What can I say but "Reuters"?

Bernd Again

We spoke of this shill yesterday.

Free Constitution takes him apart, and includes a Joyce Foundation connection that makes everything clear. Click on the title link and read it--it is very good.

As for why Reuters included this in their "news" section, it appears to be because they don't have an "opinion" section. See, at Reuters, their opinion is the news.

I did some Googling around on this Debusmann character and learned all I really wanted to about him: He's a German who bemoans "obstacles" to national socialism in Venezuela--in other words, a German national socialist. Curious that Germany does not allow free speech, particularly that which promulgates Nazism, so he conducts his subversion here, exploiting our First Amendment to undermine the Second. He also wrote a fluff piece comparing tyrant Hugo Chavez to a rock star. Chavez, of course, is notorious, among other reasons, for "Not tolerat[ing]" media outlets that oppose him.

Say Uncle has more on the subversive "Autorisierten Journalist" Herr Debusmann and his naked propagandizing.

Good Boy, Barney!

"Dog bites man" isn't usually news. Except when the dog is Barney, the terrier belonging to President Bush, and the man is a Reuters reporter.
The way they're cooing over that pooch like idiots was justification enough, but anyone trying to reach over and touch a dog like that, especially one that is clearly tense, deserves what he gets.

It figures this moron "Authorized Journalist" works for Reuters.

Off We Go Into a Wild Blue Blunder

[T]he Air Force is “tightening restrictions on which blogs its troops can read, cutting off access to just about any independent site with the word ‘blog’ in its web address.” ...Sites like The New York Times, however, will be allowed because they are “established, reputable media outlet[s].”

See, that's because the USAF is a government entity and The Times, well, they're "Authorized Journalists," so it's not like they have an agenda or anything.

Best to keep 'em unquestioning, I guess.

On the off chance this might work, here's the TinyURL address for WarOnGuns--perhaps that'll help bypass this.

In the mean time, let's do some asking around. We've learned from past experience, just because Reuters (an "established, reputable media outlet") says something is true doesn't necessarily make it so.

Supply Source

Mexico's bloody drug cartels rely on assault rifles and other firearms from the United States to support their battles with rivals and army soldiers. [More]
Gee, no mention in this Reuters article about just who exactly the Zetas are.  I wonder why, "Authorized Journalist" Jared Taylor...?

New York Times anti-gun agenda not limited to editorial page

In fairness, the online edition of The New York Times did post a Reuters filing on Feb. 11, but nothing from The Times’ staff. Funny thing though. I just got back from my hometown library, where they have a subscription to the national edition of The Times, and I couldn't find the story in their print edition. I looked through copies from Wednesday, Thursday and today. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes the paper of record seems to be missing some tracks. I wonder why that is...

Unpreppers

"I don't have any lights and need this gasoline for my generator," Abdul Rahim Anwar told Reuters as he waited at a Getty service station in Gowanus, Brooklyn. [More]
What? Abdul, old sport, you didn't know a Big-Ass Hurricane was coming your way?

And now it's "to each according to his need"?

Won't things get interesting when something even bigger, more widespread and longer-lasting comes along? They still might.

Yet "preppers" are figures to be ridiculed and even demonized.

Hey, maybe we can charge them with hoarding and "take back" what should rightfully be mi...uh...ours.

Report and Small Arms Survey Mask Anti-Gun Agenda

"Authorized journalist" Jonathan Tirone has served his anti-gun employer, New York mayor and 88% Bloomberg LP shareholder Mike Bloomberg well. Master must be pleased. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column exposes a supposed "straight news" story about a supposed "study" as being nothing more than globalist anti-gun propaganda.

Also get the latest from my fellow GREs.

See, the thing is, in addition to Bloomberg, AP, AFP, LA Times, Reuters...all the big guys with their own anti-gun agenda are out there and using their worldwide resources to promote this as gospel.

So tell a friend?

Follow the Money

President Obama is so passionate about gun violence that he cried during an announcement of an executive action related to gun control. Yet he is invested in gun and ammunition companies through the Illinois General Assembly's pension plan, which he joined as a senator, Reuters reported.  [More]
Opposite Day "progressives" in action.  Case in point, he's worth $12.2 M and his entire career has been in "public service."

Give him a few years and he'll probably pass up the "broke when they left the White House" Clintons.

The Next Big Thing

“The big thing is that the gains for the extremists were not very substantial,” Guntram Wolff, head of the Bruegel economics think-tank in Brussels, told Reuters. [More]
Interesting. Anyone who does not wish to be ruled by foreign powers is an "extremist."

And stupid.

Doesn't the old Eurorummy have an African to set on fire or something?

Don't Let the Door...

...uh...you know... [More]

How helpful of "real Reuters reporter" Edith Honan to call them an "anti-gun violence group."  Nothing like having embedded propagandists to help shape your narrative.

Reuters reports on ATF 'Gunwalker' reassignments day after GRE, SSI

This confirms the exclusive stories broken last night by this correspondent and Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars, and elaborated on this afternoon by Dave Workman. It is one more in a series of exclusives showing how new media continues to outperform the establishment press--as has been the documented case from day one of "Project Gunwalker" reporting. [More]
This evening's Gun Rights Examiner report shows a continued trend. We keep beating them, they keep following us without acknowledgment, and life goes on.

Clear and Present Danger

Extremist groups motivated by a range of U.S.-born philosophies present a "clear and present danger," John Carlin, the Justice Department's chief of national security, told Reuters in an interview. “Based on recent reports and the cases we are seeing, it seems like we’re in a heightened environment.” [More]
And guess who the "extremists" are? Go on, guess.

Speaking of Fake News

When Joan Martin heard that Joe Biden had been declared the winner of the presidential election... [More]

Really? When? By whom? It doesn't have to be certified by the states?

Funny: The claim is from AP, one of the go-to sources along with Reuters that Twitter uses to declare election fraud tweets "disputed" with generalities and without actually refuting anything.

How did I just know they would use "baseless"?

Crazy, Man!

“Health care professionals are sympathetic to Obama's goal of reducing gun violence,” Reuters reported, “but worry that the privacy rule proposal could discourage people with mental illness from seeking treatment.” [More]
So we'll just get NSA to collate records of phone calls, emails and credit card payments to psychiatric facilities with prescription records and any hits when your cell phone locates you at the shrink's office...

Let's Place the Blame Where it Belongs

Mexican police found nine decapitated bodies on Sunday in a city near the tourist resort of Acapulco, and at least some of the victims might have been soldiers who were battling against powerful drug gangs.

The bodies of the men, which were marked with signs of torture, were left on the side of a highway, while their heads were stuffed in a plastic bag found outside a shopping center, police in the state of Guerrero told Reuters. [More]

Size Matters

Some Americans worried about possible violence after the U.S. presidential election are forming community watch groups, others are working on conflict de-escalation and still others are purchasing guns, according to two dozen voters, online groups and data surveyed by Reuters. [More]

In other words, we managed to scrounge up a handful of examples to bolster the meme that Republicans are hateful extremists, and Portland communists are the voices of sanity.

The Big Lie

Obama says Navy Yard shooting shows need for better gun checks [More
Alrighty then.

They just keep adding lie upon lie. And their Fourth Estate Fifth columnist co-conspirators are happy to help them do it.  Ain't that right, Reuters?

Speaking of 'Disputed'...

President-elect Joe Biden Tweeted his congratulations, saying the launch was "a testament to the power of science." [More]

So the election has been certified and it's official? No?

Funny, no one disputed Reuters' tweet on its own story...

I guess that's one of the perks of being one of the arbiters.
